This will be a unique training experience!
This ChiRunning Half-Marathon training Program is for ANYONE who:
Can comfortably run a 10K (6.2 miles).
Is willing to train 4 days per week.
Is new to ChiRunning or wants to improve your
ChiRunning technique.
Is running his or her first marathon.
Has run other marathons but wants to run with greater
ease and enjoyment.
Has been injured and wants to prevent injury.
Wants to complete but not race a marathon.
Would like to recover quickly and stay physically active for a lifetime.
The ChiRunning Marathon Training Program will be targeted at running in the Columbus Marathon on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
Our training will begin with a ChiRunning Workshop which will be held in 2 sessions on Saturday, April 20 and Saturday, April 27, 2013 to learn the basics of the ChiRunning technique.

The "ChiRunning PAIN-FREE Half-Marathon Training Program" book developed by Katherine and Danny Dreyer.
Personalized coaching from Certified ChiRunning &
ChiWalking Instructor, Doug Dapo, to help guide you in applying the ChiRunning focuses and technique throughout the 24-week training period.
Motivation and encouragement of running with others to keep you going through your training.
Cost: $150 per person which will cover the entire training period of 24 weeks (Note: The $150 training cost does not include the registration fee to sign up to run the Columbus Marathon. The Columbus Marathon fee is $75 if you register by March 31, 2013.)

Tues: Rest
Wed: Run on your own
Thurs: Meet together at the track
Fri: Rest
Sat : 8:00 am - Meet together for our long run
Sun: Optional Fun Run on your own

CREATE BALANCE in your body and yourself with ChiWalking. ChiWalking will teach you to move from your center, your core, and not use your legs to walk!! You'll learn proper body alignment and movement techniques that will give you a powerful sense of balance and stability, as well as relaxation and spaciousness in your body and mind.
Join me for this unique walking experience! You will learn the ChiWalking technique and put it into practice to be able to walk a 10K. This 12-week training program will prepare you to walk a 10K in the New Albany Walking Classic on September 8, 2013! Plus, I will be your personal ChiWalking Coach to help guide you in applying the ChiWalking focuses and technique throughout the training.

Cost: $135 per person which will cover the entire training period of 12 weeks. Register with one or more friends and get a group rate of $115 per person. (Note: The training cost does not include the registration fee to sign up to run walk in the New Albany Walking Classic. The New Albany Walking Classic fee is $35 if you register by March 31, 2013.)
During the 12-Week ChiWalking Training Program, we will meet together for our group walk on Sundays at 1 pm.
