For my ChiRunning Workshop, I will guide you through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the ChiRunning technique feels like in your body.
We will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might have imagined), so no matter what condition you are in, have no fear.
We will spend time alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills...the nature of the day will be relaxed, full and inspiring.
We will run outside to be able to put together all that we have learned. So check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Please bring snacks and water if needed.

You will learn ChiWalking with ChiRunning. From my experience, I have found that ChiRunning and ChiWalking greatly complement each other. When you're not ChiRunning, ChiWalking can give you a wonderful cross-training experience to enhance your fitness program.
There are many similarities between ChiWalking and ChiRunning. For instance, learning good posture, which is critical for efficient and injury free movement in the body, is the foundation for both ChiWalking and ChiRunning.
Because ChiWalking moves at a slower pace, you are better able to feel how to move your body in a new way that is more efficient. Learning to move with good posture and practicing the ChiWalking focuses becomes a big help when transitioning to ChiRunning.
For this reason, when you learn ChiRunning, you will also learn ChiWalking!
Each participant will receive handouts of the material covered in class.
